Full Time, Days, Variable Responsibilities The Manager, Imaging Services will be administratively responsible and accountable for assisting in facilitating overall operational function of leadership initiatives, coordination and supervision for Grand View Imaging Services.
The Manager, Imaging Services will assist the Director with management of departmental operations and maintain day-to-day operations over varies modalities.
They will direct and oversee procedures and personnel and work closely with the Director and Supervisors to develop a team atmosphere.
The Manager, Imaging Services will act as a system resource for protocol development and training programs, coordinate quality control activities and work closely on resolution of problems that arise.
They will possess a strong ability for operations fluidity, as well as leadership and business acumen.
The Manager, Imaging Services is responsible for collaborating with the radiologists, medical staff and modality leads/supervisors and ensures high-quality Imaging Services.
The Radiology Manager ensures diagnostic and therapeutic programs comply with all corporate and regulatory agency standards and procedures.
Coordinates provision of Imaging Services with other medical functions and has overall responsibility for the technical aspect of radiological safety.
Essential Functions:
Utilizes strategic planning process to facilitate long-range focus in planning, budgeting, procedure and documentation development for assigned area.
Recommends and participates in establishing structure, goals, objectives and management initiatives for assigned area.
Has knowledge of trends, issues, standards and legalities of hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
Recommends and participates in fiscal planning activities for assigned area, including cost analyses, staffing efficiencies and reducing business expenses.
Assists with annual operating, capital and expense budgets for assigned areas.
Facilitates the attainment of the goals and objectives of the assigned area.
Assumes authority in the absence of the Director, Imaging Services.
Responsible for planning and directing the Imaging service line, which comprises Radiology, MRI, CT scan, Interventional Radiology, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography and PACS.
Drives growth by optimizing the use of equipment and staff to best meet patient demands, as well as identify and fulfill financial opportunities for the organization.

Assists Radiology Director and department managers in overall departmental operations to effect efficient economical outcomes.
Interviews, selects and hires personnel for assigned areas.
Evaluates performance of assigned personnel by providing ongoing feedback and annual written performance appraisals.
Provides ongoing counseling and positive discipline in accordance with Human Resources policies, including termination when indicated.
Delegates effectively by entrusting responsibility and authority to modality leads, Managers and staff.
Participates and supports organizational changes in a constructive manner.
Participates in recruitment and retention strategies and activities.
Promotes and participates in shared-governance concepts and decision-making process.
Maintains professional enhancement through independent learning activities; professional networking; and attending relevant seminars, conferences or continuing education programs.
Serves as a resource/consultant to staff in areas of expertise.
Works collaboratively with other hospital departments and personnel to develop, implement and support quality improvement initiatives and opportunities.
Works with regulatory authorities in commissioning and testing equipment.
Qualifications EDUCATION AND
Experience:
Associate's degree and minimum of 5 years of experience in progressively more responsible medical imaging roles, or Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3 years of progressively more responsible medical imaging roles.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
ARRT, ARDMS or other imaging certification upon hire required.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
